What weight loss treatments are available through 123Meds?
We offer access to a range of prescription weight loss treatments, including Mounjaro®, Wegovy® Injection, Wegovy® Pill, and selected non-GLP-1 treatments where appropriate. Treatment availability may vary depending on your consultation and clinical suitability.
What are the side effects?
Mounjaro® contains tirzepatide and is administered as a once-weekly injection. Wegovy® Injection contains semaglutide and is also administered once weekly. Wegovy® Pill contains semaglutide in tablet form and is taken once daily. Our clinicians can help determine which option may be most appropriate for your lifestyle and treatment goals.
Do I need to sign up to a subscription?
No, you don’t need to sign up for a subscription. At 123meds, you can order your medication whenever you need it—there’s no commitment to ongoing deliveries unless you choose one. This way, you stay in control and can manage your treatment at your own pace.
If you’d like, we also offer convenient subscription options to help you never run out of your medication, but it’s completely up to you!
Can I switch from another weight loss provider?
Yes. Many patients join 123Meds after starting treatment elsewhere. Our clinicians can review your current treatment, treatment history, and progress to determine whether continuing treatment with 123Meds is appropriate.
Can I switch from injections to tablets?
Some patients may be able to switch from injectable treatments to Wegovy® Pill following a clinical review. Our clinicians will assess your current medication, treatment response, and weight loss goals before recommending whether switching is appropriate.
How much weight can I lose with prescription weight loss treatment?
Weight loss results vary between individuals and depend on factors such as treatment choice, adherence, diet, exercise, and starting weight. Clinical studies have shown significant weight loss with GLP-1 treatments when combined with healthy lifestyle changes, although individual results will vary.
What support will I receive during treatment?

How do I get started?
Simply complete our online consultation. Our clinicians will review your responses and recommend a suitable treatment where appropriate. Once approved, your medication will be dispensed by our UK pharmacy and delivered directly to your door.
What side effects can weight loss treatments cause?
Like all medicines, prescription weight loss treatments can cause side effects. The most common side effects associated with GLP-1 treatments such as Mounjaro®, Wegovy® Injection and Wegovy® Pill are digestive in nature and may include nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, vomiting, bloating, indigestion, and stomach discomfort.
These side effects are often most noticeable when starting treatment or increasing the dose and may improve as your body adjusts. Our clinicians will review your medical history and discuss any concerns before treatment is prescribed.
You should contact your GP, pharmacist, or NHS 111 if side effects are severe, persistent, or causing concern. Seek urgent medical attention if you experience severe abdominal pain, signs of an allergic reaction, difficulty breathing, or any other serious or unexpected symptoms.
